LeaderBoard MX · Terms of service
The termsShort, because the app is simple. Draft of 7 October 2026.
LeaderBoard MX is a free app that shows motocross and supercross championship results as charts. These terms say what you can expect from it and what it expects from you. For what the app knows about you, read the privacy page; the two go together.
DRAFT written by the app's developer with an AI assistant, not by a lawyer. To be reviewed before the stores open in December 2026. Items in [brackets] are to be confirmed.
1. Who we are
LeaderBoard MX is published by an individual, a French developer and motocross fan, under the name LeaderBoard (rich.gg). It is not a company and it has no employees. [Legal notice: as a non-professional publisher under French law (LCEN art. 6-III-2), the publisher's name and address are held by the hosting provider and are not published here. Hosting: name, address and contact of the host.]
You can reach us at support@leaderboard.fan.
2. What the app is
LeaderBoard MX presents the results of four championships, Supercross, Pro Motocross, MXGP and EMX, as season charts: cumulative points, round by round, for the leading riders, with the standings. The current season of each championship is free for everyone. Past seasons, back to 2000, are open to anyone who signs in with a free account.
LeaderBoard MX is a fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the organisers, promoters or sanctioning bodies of these championships, nor with any team, rider or manufacturer. Championship names, event names, team names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify what the results refer to.
3. The results
Results are compiled from publicly available sources: the results published by the federations and promoters, the specialist press, and the knowledge and archives of fans who helped put the record together. They are checked by hand. We correct errors when we find them or when a fan reports one (support@leaderboard.fan). Results can be wrong, late or incomplete, especially within hours of a race. LeaderBoard MX is not an official record and must not be relied on as one.
4. Your account
- An account is an email address and a six-digit code sent to that address each time you sign in. There is no password. Keep your mailbox safe: whoever reads your email can sign in as you.
- Until 1 January 2027 an account can only be created with an invitation from a fan who already has one. After that date anyone can create one.
- You choose a display name. Keep it clean: no impersonation of a real rider, team or person, nothing hateful or obscene. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule.
- You must be at least [16] years old to create an account. [Age threshold to be confirmed with counsel: GDPR digital consent age in France is 15.]
- You can delete your account from the app at any time. Everything tied to it goes with it, as described on the privacy page.
5. Invitations
Each account holds a number of invitations to give to friends, three during the launch period. An invitation is sent to an email address you type in; it is not a link to post or forward. Do not invite people who have not asked you to, and do not send invitations in bulk. We keep who invited whom, so the app's growth can be understood and inviters can be thanked.
6. Using the app
The app is for personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy the results data out of the app at scale, do not try to reach the servers other than through the app, do not interfere with other fans' use of it, and do not attempt to break its security. Screenshots and charts shared from the app are welcome: that is what the share feature is for.
7. What is ours
The app, its design, its graphics, its code and the way the results are presented belong to the publisher. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them. The way the panels stack, move and draw the season is the subject of a pending United States patent application. The underlying facts of a race, who finished where, belong to nobody.
8. No warranty
LeaderBoard MX is provided as it is, free of charge, by one person in their spare time. We do our best to keep it running, accurate and available, and we promise none of these. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or from an error in it. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
9. Changes and ending
The app will change; features will be added, moved or removed. These terms may change too; the date at the top tells you which version you are reading, and a change that matters will be announced in the app. We may close an account that breaks these terms. We may also stop the service altogether; if that day comes, we will say so in advance and let you take your profile with you.
10. Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking to us goes before the competent French courts, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
11. Credits
Typeface: Saira, by Omnibus-Type, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The app is built with Flutter and Serverpod, open source under their own licences, listed in the app's About screen.
12. Logos, pictures and names
The pictures, logos and names in the app and on this site are ours or used to identify what the results refer to. If something of yours appears here and it bothers you, or a logo is used in a way you don't like, write to us first at support@leaderboard.fan: we will correct it straight away, no formal notice needed.
